As
his longtime companion, Beth has the daunting task of contending with Litts' low tolerance for bad films. "Some have said we're like
a married version of Siskel & Ebert," says Beth. "Well
if that's true, than he must be Siskel - the jerk is 'dead' asleep half
the time!"
But
this is a friendly banter. In truth, the two are inseparable, having
watched every flick they've ever rated together - with only one
exception. "Well, I saw 'Beloved' with one of my
girlfriends," Beth admits. "Two hours of Oprah
Winfrey? You'd have thought I was asking Litts to have a sex change
operation!"
As
the first member to adopt the DVD platform, Beth
has also made a significant contribution in terms of technology.
"Yeah, but it's only watchable on the computer," she
explains. "It wouldn't be so bad if Litts didn't make me and
the kids stand for two hours, while his lazy ass lounges in the papasan
chair."
What a bastard.
