Billy
Billy brings both an appreciation for
history and ambition for the future to the Flickboard. "Hey, I've got nothing but
respect for the F.F.F. and what they've accomplished," says the
young
critic, referring to the Flickboard Founding Fathers. "But I'm
here to mix things up. I look at the Board today and
see a lot of 5-through-7 ratings. It's time for some stronger opinions
here."
Billy's
reputation as a tough realist with little tolerance for sappy storylines precedes
him, and our advance scouts tell us to expect surprises early and
often. "Oh, I'll be doling out '1' ratings like beer at a frat
party," says the brash rookie.
But
where exactly does this young phenom come from? "Let's just say
I've earned my chops," says Billy, who lost two fingers on his right
hand in a nasty childhood accident involving a top-loading Betamax.
"I still have flashbacks to that...even after the move to
the VHS format." With top-notch credentials like that, this
newcomer looks to play a key role in the Flickboard's continued growth.
