JT
As
one of the Flickboard's founding fathers, JT is constantly asked to recount the
tale of how this incredible pop culture phenomenon began.
"Well,
the idea originally came to me after Brown and I watched 'The Pelican
Brief'," he begins. "We beat each other silly arguing over
which John Grisham adaptation has been the best," he explains.
"I mean, Brown said it was 'The Chamber' for God's sake...have you
seen that pile of work?"
Even
as he tells the story, the 100-flick veteran removes his Cardinals hat and begins rubbing his temples
with fresh frustration. "So to avoid any future hospital stays,
I came up with a more civilized means of tracking our opinions," he
says, still shaking his head slightly.
But
could this saucy Greek ever have imagined how popular the Flickboard would
become, or the insane antics it would engender in its loyal following
throughout the world? "Well,
I could do without the hoards of screaming teenage girls," says JT,
who admits to occasionally leaving the house in a Milli Vanilli costume to
preserve his anonymity. "But that's the price of
success."
